A little about me!

I enjoy my time teaching, guiding, and mentoring young, adult students and professionals; partnering with school and college programs for resources; collaborating with the faculty team to improve student learning experiences; administering and facilitating Terra Nova, MAP-NWEA, PSAT, AP exams, and TABE assessments as well as advising students for placement in classes. I have taught Algebra I and II at high school level as well as in GED classes, in addition to AP Bio, Honors Physics and Chemistry. I have extensive experience in tracking curricular implementation and goals, training teachers and staff in best practices. At the onset of Covid-19 pandemic, I worked strategically and timely to transit 30 in-seat classes to online.

With Admin I certification, CPP, and my educational training (MS degree in Education Leadership), I have deeply contemplated on improving all areas of schooling from supervising students and teachers, to implementing and analyzing school-wide assessments, to designing professional development modules, and to fundraising and creating community partnerships.  In totality, I have 7 years of administrative experience and I am committed to continually grow professionally and serve my community.
